Marshall County defunds Flock cameras

The Marshall County Council has voted to end funding for the county’s Flock license-plate cameras.

Councilman Will Patterson says the vote was four-to-three.

The county has six Flock cameras, and officials say they’ll have to wait 30 days before terminating the contract.

The county would then pay a $500r fee for each camera.

Marshall County Commissioners voted last month against automatically renewing the contract.

Kosciusko and Starke counties have also recently ended their agreements with Flock.
