Schererville woman sentenced after pleading guilty to possession of child porn
A Schererville woman has been sentenced to nearly 16 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.
Samantha M. Conley, 31, was sentenced Aug. 26 in U.S. District Court in South Bend to 190 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. She was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.
According to federal court documents, Conley possessed 82 videos containing child sexual abuse material.
U.S. Attorney Adam Mildred called Conley’s conduct a disturbing pattern of abuse and betrayal of trust.
FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Timothy O’Malley said the possession of child sexual abuse material perpetuates the exploitation and abuse of children.
