South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured.

Officers were called to the area of Ardmore Trail and Bendix Drive just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5.

Around the same time, a woman arrived at Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound that police say is connected to the incident.

Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators have not released information about a suspect or what led to the shooting.
