Mishawaka Police say two adults were hit by a van Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 29, in the 1000 block of Jackson Street.

Officers found a man and woman on the ground near the van. Both were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

Police say the van driver ran from the scene but was later located and taken into custody. The investigation continues.
