Indiana unemployment sits well below national rate

According to the Department of Workforce Development, the state’s unemployment rate for May sits at 3.3 percent, well below the national rate of 4.3 percent.
Indiana added 3,800 private-sector jobs last month, driven by gains in construction and hospitality.
Right now, there are over 94,000 open job postings statewide.
